“Since you’re a male, if you were raped, then you deserved it somehow.”
What a disgusting shitstain.
Makes me feel sick every time.
There’s more victim-blaming in this post than any damn news story about a female rape victim. Rape culture, anyone?
Awful things.
this is sickening
This is why I’m becoming a therapist and opening a rape care clinic for men and women.
whaaaaat is this?
jesus fucking christ?!
One: Women and men are equally capable of rape. Men are less likely to admit to having been raped because of this—the response to their admission of rape. Society has pushed us to treat men like monsters or ‘pussies’ when they show weakness, sexual or otherwise.
Two: Asexuals can be raped. Their body is capable of achieving arousal even if they, themselves, the entity controlling the conscious actions of the body, are not. It is rape if they are asexual. It is rape if it’s a straight man and a lesbian; it’s rape if it’s a gay man and a straight woman; it’s rape between two lesbians; it’s rape between two gay men; it’s rape between any conglomeration of people if one or more are unwilling participants.
Three: Stop. Now. If you’re a horrible person, you shouldn’t be exposing the world to your hatred via any means of communication. Stay home. Stay silent. Your words have weight, and you use them to bludgeon others to death.
Because apparently some people need to get their fucking information right:

Reasons why my big sister is awesome:
Me:"I don't know, it's like I just get to a certain point with my writing and I just hate it all and think it's crap."Big Sister:"But it's not crap!"Me:"I know... I just-"Big Sister:"Whenever you start to think like that, just stop and read a chapter of Twilight, okay?"Me:"You're not supposed to say that! You LIKE Twilight!"Big Sister:"I know I do, but your writing is better. So read a chapter and remember what she's accomplished as a writer, and that yours is better." -
