It’s official. I’m definitely getting better at Yoga Booty Ballet. Still not up to the same grace level, but I’m seeing an improvement of my movements. And certainly figuring out what the moves are.

7/12/12: Killer ovaries.
Just got done with Hip Hop Abs and 10 min Booty Blaster. My ovaries wanted to kill me for the ab exercises and I nearly fainted at the end of the blaster, but it ended just in time and I safely sank to the carpet. I’m gonna grab a bite to eat as soon as I can, but I don’t think I can push on to the elliptical. Between my cramps and the near faint I don’t think I should.

7/7/12: part 1
Started my exercising with Wii Fit Plus. Four mins of Kung fu followed by 13 mins of Boxing. The Kung fu is more of a warm up, the real exercise starts with the Rhythmic Boxing. I continued on with YBB after Wii Fit. My little sister came over when I was about half way through to play Kingdom Hearts. Which is fine, even though I had to stop my workout I can continue later.
Spending time with my sister is more important.

Work harder.
I was talking with my fiancee today, and we came to the conclusion that I need to workout harder. As in doing more than just ybb (Yoga Booty Ballet).
I was thinking I should either add the elliptical trainer or my previous wii work out.
What say you my fitness followers?

7/5/12: Latin Flavor
Even with the a/c busted I’m glad I got off my rear and worked out. By time I was done though I was doubly soaked in sweat. How? Soaked by the usual amount because of the workout and soaked by the same amount because of the temp in the room.
After I went straight to the shower and deliberately took a cold shower. It felt sooooooo goooooood!!!

6/30/12: day watever
Day whatever… Since it’s the last day of the month and I’ve not been home for 2 weeks and unable to really exercise (see previous post) I chose the last workout in the YBB booklet (a wee little booklet that came with the kit). Hip Hop & Abs. I’m still not any better at it than day 1, but that’s alright; I’m still keeping with it!
I’ll be changing the titles from “Day #” to the date. Easier to keep track of, lol!

Day 13….became an unscheduled rest day. It was my birthday and that’s all ya need to know.
Day 14: Today is an scheduled rest day. Good thing too. So much happening today…or to happen….

Day 11 & 12
I was just
feeling lazytoo tired yesterday to blog day 11.So yesterday, day 11, was Hip Hop & Abs. HAHAHAHAHA! I was at my sister’s …again… and it was just me and her eldest (the 4yr old). I tried to get her to dance with me. *sad face* She wouldn’t. And she loves dancing! I really thought she would. Anyways. The whole time she was encouraging me and say I was doing it beautifully.
I love that sweet little girl!!! She is such a boost to anyone’s self-esteem! Especially if your’s is like mine and therefore have a loooooooow one.
I told my sister later when she called to check up on us. My sister then told me that her daughter thinks I look like a queen. See?!?! This little girl is awesome. Stay awesome sweet child!
Okay, day 12, today. Light & Easy. It’s the first time for me with this particular workout. …yeah…. It really was light(er) and easy(ier) in comparison of the others…as in the movements are. Do not get me wrong! This workout was still intense! I was soaked with sweat by the time it was done!
I’m so very grateful for Light & Easy today. My cramps actually eased up as the workout progressed.
…unless that was just the 3 ibuprofen I took earlier….Over all I really enjoyed it. So glad I’m doing the YBB program.

Day 10: Latin Flavor
I’ve decided to treat yesterday…or day 9…as an unscheduled rest day and just move on.
Latin Flavor! Still a great workout and I’m catching on to the moves….all except one particular piece of footwork. ….I’ll get it eventually…..

Day 8: Body Sculpting Bollywood Style
Back to Bollywood Style. I was a wee bit better on the dance moves today. Just need to work on my left vs their left. That can confuse a girl.
Still dripping in sweat for this workout…which is why I’m gonna have to find some talcum or baby powder soon for my sculpting band.
Almost didn’t workout at all today…. Just feeling kinda down lately. Of course I’m glad I did anyway. Otherwise my conscience would have bugged the shit out of me. Not about the ice cream I ate earlier or about the fact that I want more, no, it would have been for not working out at all. Bah!

Day 7: Rest
Rest? I guess I did that….considering I didn’t workout today. But I wouldn’t consider today restful. No day that I watch my little nieces can be considered restful.

Day 5: Go-Go
Wow! If I was dripping in sweat yesterday I’m drenched in sweat today. Not that it was easier just longer. I could follow all the movements…just still not up to pace, and I became slower as the dvd went on. But I kept going.
I’m still enjoying myself :)

Day 4: Body Sculpting Bollywood Style
I was/am dripping sweat! I’d say that’s a great workout!
Simple sounding moves aren’t so simple if you’re not used to it. I just gotta keep on. I know I’ll get these moves right soon enough. I took Hawaiian dance lessons when a kid. This isn’t any harder than that was. Just more intense.
Today was also the first time that I’ve ever used a sculpting band. It felt so odd. I’m sure I’ll get used to that too.
